Back to School Information
The first day back for students for the 2008 school year is Monday, August 25. Parents can find school supply lists for grades PreK - 8 by following the Parent Information link on the left navigation bar of this website. Teachers' first day of inservice is Thursday, August 14 while new teachers to the district will report on Wednesday, August 13.
Freshmen Orientation
A special orientation just for freshmen students is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 18 at 3:30 p.m. in the PN-G cafeteria. Join the fun as we learn, karaoke, eat, win prizes and get to know your new school. This program is underwritten by BASF FINA Petrochemicals & Sabina Petrochemicals, LLC. View more information.
PN-GISD Announces Parent Access Technology
Beginning with the 2008-2009 school year, parents can register for secure access to their child's PN-GISD information including grades, attendance, schedules, assignments, interactive campus calendars, and much more. This access is being provided through two programs: Skyward Family Access and SchoolFusion website portal. Information on how to register for access and receiving username logins and passwords will be available during "Meet the Teacher" nights in August and early September. Information will also be made available on the district website.

Perfect Attendance Winner!
Barbara Ailstock, Groves Elementary School custodian, was the district winner of the travel voucher from Philpott Motors for perfect attendance this year.
