Commissioner Michael Williams Visits...
Image

Commissioner Michael Williams visited Port Neches-Groves ISD administrators during the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) training held at Region 5 ESC in Beaumont.  PN-GISD is one of approximately 72 districts participating in the evaluation pilot.  The intent of the new evaluation system is to represent a "growth" model where instruments are research-based, expert-developed, and practitioner-informed with multiple indicators of success. Port Neches-Groves ISD teachers and administrators will be given the opportunity to provide valuable feedback to TEA from experiences gained from their participation in the pilot .
