|Commissioner Michael Williams Visits...|
Commissioner Michael Williams visited Port Neches-Groves ISD administrators during the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) training held at Region 5 ESC in Beaumont. PN-GISD is one of approximately 72 districts participating in the evaluation pilot. The intent of the new evaluation system is to represent a "growth" model where instruments are research-based, expert-developed, and practitioner-informed with multiple indicators of success. Port Neches-Groves ISD teachers and administrators will be given the opportunity to provide valuable feedback to TEA from experiences gained from their participation in the pilot .
Port Neches-Groves ISD would like to thank the following sponsors for their support in providing EMPOWER t-shirts to all staff for the 2014-2015 school year: The Medical Center of Southeast Texas, Kinsel Ford, Permian Premier Health Services, Dr. Stephen L. Hall, D.O., Smiles by Design (Dr. Bartlett), Dr. Steven Rockman, MD, and Threads!
