WELCOME TO 1ST GRADE!
My name is Christy Jones. I am excited to welcome you and your child to my class. This is my 25th year of teaching. I have had 6 years experience in Port Arthur I.S.D. teaching kindergarten at Booker T. Washington. This will be my 18th year in PN-G I.S.D. I am also a certified Irlen screener. My goal is to have your child succeed to the best of their ability! I teach because I dream I can change the world, every single day! I am married with two beautiful children. Your child will learn a great deal of information this year. With your help and support, we can make your child's first grade year a memorable one!

School Supplies
Pre-ordered school supplies will be delivered and in your child's classroom. They are to remain in the classroom. Please DO NOT label any school supplies. Any school supplies that are not delivered can be brought to the classroom on meet the teacher.
