I have been teaching business/CATE classes at Port Neches-Groves High School for the last 33 years.  I received my BBA in Office Administration with the Business Composite teacher certification from Lamar University in 1987. I also earned my Technology Applications certification from the University of North Texas in 2004. I earned my MEd. in Educational Administration-Principal certification completely online through Lamar University in December 2009. I also have served as the Technology Lead Teacher for Electives on the high school campus

During my time at PN-G, I served as Assistant Indianette Director from 1988-1998, Indianette Director from 2012-2019,  and  coached UIL Computer Applications for 14 years. I have also served on numerous campus committees, been a mentor teacher and have had the opportunity to be a cooperating teacher for two student teachers.

I have two children, Harrison, 24, and Sarina, 21. Harrison graduated from LIT with degrees in Computer Networking and Engineering/Database Security & Cybersecurity. Sarina is a senior at Texas State University in San Marcos this fall. She will graduate December 2022 with a bachelors degree in Exercise and Sports Science and plans to attend graduate school in the near future.
