  • Welcome to Mrs. White's World!

I have absolutely loved teaching at Port Neches Elementary for 26 years!  I'm blessed to be married 30 years to Aaron White, with two children, Victoria and Zachary. My kids are 4th generation PNG Indians!  #PNEisthePlacetoBe * #PNGproud * #AlwaysBeFaithful

My goals for my students are for them to grow in confidence and success in READING and WRITING in their journey to become leaders and world changers!

Developing word recognition skills and language comprehension skills together is an important step in being a great reader.  Reading at least 20-30 minutes a day is one of the biggest factors in gaining increased vocabulary and comprehension skills.  Also, writing to communicate what you mean is important. Journaling or writing each day will help students become better readers and writers.

Please let me know if you have any questions, concerns or input by email or phone. dwhite@pngisd.org 409-722-2262 -  or message through Remind.

Let's have an amazing year of discovery! Together, we can instill knowledge, values, character, and vision in these young minds. #untileveryonecanread

    Joyfully,
