Julie Gauthier, Superintendent
Mrs. Julie Gauthier is proud to serve as Superintendent of Port Neches-Groves ISD, a district and community that have been an important part of her life for many years. A 1995 graduate of Port Neches-Groves High School, Mrs. Gauthier has dedicated her career to public education and has served PNGISD for 27 years in a variety of leadership roles.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Gauthier has remained grounded in a simple belief: schools are about people. She believes strong relationships, high expectations, and a genuine commitment to serving others are at the heart of great schools. As superintendent, she is committed to supporting students and staff, honoring the traditions that make PNGISD special, and continuing to move the district forward while never losing sight of the little things that matter most.
Mrs. Gauthier earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University in College Station in 1999 and a Master of Education from Lamar University in 2002. She earned her Superintendent Certification in 2016 and is currently pursuing her doctorate at Lamar University.
For Mrs. Gauthier, serving as superintendent is more than a professional role, it is an opportunity to give back to the school district and community she loves. She is proud to lead PNGISD with a deep appreciation for its history and traditions and an unwavering belief in the future of public education.
