ParentSquare is Replacing Remind!

Port Neches-Groves Independent School District is excited to welcome families to ParentSquare, our new district communication platform designed to make it easier for families to stay connected with their child’s teachers, campus, and PNGISD. ParentSquare is replacing Remind and will become PNGISD’s primary communication tool for families.

ParentSquare brings school and district communication together in one convenient place. Parents and guardians can receive important announcements, classroom updates, alerts, event information, and messages from teachers and administrators. Families can also communicate directly with school staff and customize how and when they receive notifications.

ParentSquare is available through a free mobile app or can be accessed online. One of the great features of ParentSquare is the ability to choose how you receive information—including app notifications, text messages, or email. Families can also choose to receive messages instantly or as a daily digest.

Getting Started is Easy

1. Download the ParentSquare app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Activate your account using the email address or phone number registered with your child’s school.
3. Set your notification preferences to choose how and when you would like to receive messages.
4. Stay connected! You will automatically receive information relevant to your child, campus, and PNGISD.

Parents and guardians who have not downloaded the app can still receive ParentSquare communications through text and email. However, downloading the app provides access to all ParentSquare features in one convenient location.

As we transition from Remind, we encourage all PNGISD families to activate their ParentSquare accounts and download the app. ParentSquare connects families to their students and schools using the contact information already on file with the district.
